No puff, no drop eye exams.

We now have Optomap retinal imaging.

Optomap retinal imaging

The cost for all of this individual care is not as much as you may think! The fee for a comprehensive exam including a full ocular heath examination, glasses prescription if needed, and even the Optomap retinal image of the back of your eye (no drops!) is only $189.00.

We think you will find this is a great value in our local market. If you are a contact lenses wearer, fees for fitting, trials if needed, and evaluation of your lenses range from $49.00-$110.00 depending on if you have worn lenses in the past and what type of lenses you and the doctor determine are best for you.

Book Now and save $100.00 off a complete pair of glasses at Eye.D.!

Eye.Doc., Dr. Mike Grindstaff offers a boutique experience.

How is an eye exam a boutique experience?

We’ve all gone to an appointment and spent 75% of our time in the waiting room and then a hurried exam. We pay our copay and we still get a hefty bill later. We leave feeling uncertain. We’ve almost forgotten how precious our sight is and how undervalued it has become in the care we often get.

Dr Mike Grindstaff offers a different type of service, like the old days, but with the latest technology of today. He does a thorough medical eye exam to assess your eye health and how it relates to your overall health. He uses the latest technology in retinal cameras, Optomap, so he doesn’t have to dilate your eyes to examine your retina. He tests your ocular pressure for glaucoma without the puff. He’ll explain what he’s doing and why and answer all of your questions. He will give you the time you need to answer “which is better, A or B?” so you get a precise prescription for glasses or contacts.

The office is in a warm, contemporary setting instead of a clinical environment, located inside Eye.D. Their staff works closely and cooperatively with Dr. Grindstaff and will be happy to assist you with glasses or anything you need to make your visit a great experience.

In order to give his patients this outstanding service, he does not do insurance billing. Compared to many things, it’s a small price to pay to take the best care of yourself. We’re worth it because you’re worth it!
